God is doing Something New 2

Watch for the new thing I am going to do. It is happening already- You can see it now! I will make a road through the wilderness and give you streams of water there. Isaiah 43:19

For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem’s sake I will not remain quiet, till her vindication shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch. The nations will see your vindication, and all kings your glory;you will be called by a new namethat the mouth of the Lord will bestow. You will be a crown of splendor in the Lord’s hand,a royal diadem in the hand of your God. No longer will they call you Deserted,or name your land Desolate. But you will be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah;for the Lord will take delight in you,and your land will be married. As a young man marries a young woman,so will your Builder marry you;as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride,so will your God rejoice over you. I have posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem;they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the Lord, give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalemand makes her the praise of the earth. The Lord has sworn by his right handand by his mighty arm:“Never again will I give your grainas food for your enemies, and never again will foreigners drink the new winefor which you have toiled; but those who harvest it will eat itand praise the Lord, and those who gather the grapes will drink itin the courts of my sanctuary.” Pass through, pass through the gates!Prepare the way for the people.Build up, build up the highway!Remove the stones.Raise a banner for the nations. The Lord has made proclamation to the ends of the earth:“Say to Daughter Zion,‘See, your Savior comes!See, his reward is with him,and his recompense accompanies him.’” They will be called the Holy People, the Redeemed of the Lord;and you will be called Sought After, the City No Longer Deserted.

God is doing something new. I am here to proclaim it to you again. We walk by faith and not by sight. Believe it in your heart. When the Israelites were planning to shift to the promised land, they were happy and made preparations. They were finally going to move from their land of slavery or bondage to the promised land: the land they always dreamt about, the land of milk and honey. This is a similar case to when they were to return to their land after being in exile for 400 years. It seemed an unreal situation to start preparing for a new place or a new thing but they heeded the prophets’ voices. Make preparations to accommodate the newness coming in.

To possess newness, a newset mentality has to set in. For one, one has to be ready and willing to go where God is leading them. It is a place where there’s going to be more of being God-led than self-led. God is coming to “marry” you. This means walking in lock-step with Him. Now, I do not mean that you are not walking with God, I mean that God is taking you to a new level. A level of more accessibility to him. Now, this is not to mean that you are not accessing him. Since you have made friendship with Him, you know Him better. You know where to find Him, you know where to meet him, where to hang out, what he says to you, and when he does so repeatedly. In short, you get to a place of knowing Jesus your friend at a deeper level.

When you come to this place of deep friendship with God, everything around you changes. Your view changes, and your perception of everything is fine-tuned. Your vision and revelation changes. New level, new mission, new ground, new battlefield, new wars… and empowered anointing. The things that seemed so far away now seem near, those that seem impossible, now seem possible, what you feared, you no longer fear, what you want you can finally grasp it. Not that things are at a stretch-hands distance but that your faith is now strengthened to go for what you want. You pray unceasingly and believe it whether you have tangible results or not. You know how to choose and fight your battles. How you tackle issues shifts. You depend on God more to guide you and fight for you. You do not do anything without consulting Him.

What you had been praying for, for such a long time without any answers, now gets an answer. You break free of your bondages: addictions, idolatry, greed, lust, and so on. You become a conqueror and victorious in Christ.

All these, we achieve not by our merit, but by GOD’S GRACE. Why God’s grace? Because you will realize that God has blessed you more than you imagined or expected. He has given you more than you deserved. God exceeds your expectations. Through his mighty arm, he has enabled you. No longer will you be called forskaen nor your land desolate, but you will be called ‘God’s delight’ and ‘married to God.’ You will be called the ‘Holy people‘, the redeemed of the LORD, and frequented (one who God remembers) and not forsaken. In short, your business is now God’s personal business.

God wants to restore us. He has taken this business so seriously that he has placed watchmen to remind him day and night of our fate until he restores us. God is restoring your health, your beauty, your youth, your land, your sanity, your peace, your joy, your love, your worship, your prayer life…(fill in) God our saviour is coming to us to save us and he comes with rewards and compensation. (v11) Worry no more about the tears you have cried, the sleepless nights, the guilt, the shame, the pain… He will make everything worthwhile.

I want to encourage someone that God is a God who re-writes stories. He makes a way where there is none. He makes rivers in dry, wasted forgotten land. He is a God of signs and wonders. He is re-writing your story today, right now. Wait in prayer until it comes to pass. He was asking me the other day, is anything too hard for me? Is anything impossible for me? Genesis 18:14. And ofcourse NO. God is able. He will do just what he says he will do.

God has remembered you, your address, your home, your people, your family, your job, your situation, and He is doing something about it. He will look upon you with favor. He will fill your life with new hope. He will heal you. He will pay your debt. He will give you a new job. He is doing that new thing you have asked him to do for you again and again. God sees and hears. Psalm 94:9. He is going to fulfill his promises to us his children. He is aware of all that has been happening in your life. Psalm 94:11

God is a good God. He has opened wide his hand and satisfied your desire. Psalm 145:16. He is a loving father who delights in doing us good. Be encouraged, dear child of God.

It’s a new day on the horizon

Heart-to-heart for Jesus
